From Tenth Grader to Professional Engineer in Ten Years or Less
Video by Luther Setzer
High school students considering a career in engineering face numerous challenges. Many of these challenges result from ignorance of the nature of engineering. Other challenges arise from an absence of proven though seldom discussed long range strategies for success. This presentation seeks to inform high school students about how to educate themselves and ultimately achieve the “gold standard” of engineering, the Professional Engineer (PE) license. It can also help anyone at any stage of progress in engineering to achieve that worthy goal.
