Show Managers, Associations Decide SUPERCOMM Shelved For 2010
(WASHINGTON, DC / ARLINGTON, VA / NORWALK, CONN / BETHSEDA, MD; February 8, 2010) EXPOCOMM Events LLC has elected not to renew the contract to manage a SUPERCOMM event in 2010 after careful review and counsel with co-owning SUPERCOMM associations, TIA and USTelecom.
The SUPERCOMM co-owning associations have also decided against producing a SUPERCOMM event in 2010.

Highlights of SUPERCOMM 2009:
SUPERCOMM 2009 concluded after three days of top-tier keynote speakers, quality VIP buyer engagement and networking, and created a platform for the discussion of the $7.2B broadband stimulus package and its impact not only the communications industry but on society as a whole. It’s estimated that over 6000 industry professionals participated in the event to gain a competitive edge, preview the innovation presented by leading brands and hear from the communications industry’s leading players from both private and public sectors.
Below is a snapshot of events that took place at the show:
- Over 1800 participants were riveted by the keynote presentations conducted by industry luminaries
- The keynote presentations as well as the educational program provided a glimpse into the future of broadband enabling technologies and created discussion on controversial topics
- The show floor consisted of more than 120,000 gross sq. ft. of broadband innovation and enabling technologies
- A robust VIP buyer program was created for SUPERCOMM so that suppliers and buyers could network in a comfortable and relaxing environment
- Cisco-hosted networking cocktail reception immediately following the close of Day One gathered several hundred industry professionals
- The annual Eos Awards were conducted at SUPERCOMM with Juniper Networks winning the 2009 Spotlight Award
SUPERCOMM 2009 is co-owned by the USTelecom and TIA and was produced by EXPOCOMM, LLC, a joint venture between Reed Exhibitions and E.J. Krause.
