American Society of Test Engineers, Inc.
The American Society of Test Engineers, Inc. (ASTE) is made up of corporate and individual members from primarily the electronics testing industry as well as electronic instrumentation professionals from the manufacturing, science, education, and medical disciplines. ASTE is an “all volunteer”, registered non-profit corporation dedicated to the Quality, Integrity, and Advancement of the Test Engineering Professional…Peer helping Peer.
ASTE’s stated goals included:

help break down the over 200,000 test related www sites to bring the most pertinent test information and “free” test tools available for the test engineeer

The ASTE web site includes a “link page” that have numerous links in a variety of categories. These categories include magazines, conferences, companies, instrument drivers, hardware, software, employment, instrumentation, technical information, and professional societies & organizations.
MEMBERSHIP:
The cost for an individual is $40 per year, and the corporate membership is $400. The membership application and other details can be found on their “membership” page. Membership includes a subscription to The ASTE Newsletter published quarterly and mailed to your home or place of work via U.S. Mail.
