Take Inventory

There comes a time when you get to bed and hit the pillow.  You are alone with your thoughts and you take inventory of yourself, your assets, and your liabilities.  Then you should ask yourself what you forgot to do during the day.

Did you forget to smile at least once?  Did you forget to compliment someone for a deed well done, for a word well spoken?  Did you forget that you can be happy, that you can make a habit of happiness?  Did you forget resentment, violence – those negative feelings that take you away from yourself and make you the small person that you actually aren’t?  Did you forget that you were born to succeed in life?  Did you forget that you have assets within you that God gave you?  Dud you forget to be sincere?  Did you forget to understand the needs of others?  Did you forget to be compassionate?  Did you forget to be self-confident?  Did you forget to accept yourself for what you are and not try to be someone else?

What did you forget today?  Think of one thing you don’t want to forget tomorrow.  It will make you relax.  Take stock in yourself.  It will improve your self-image and give you peace of mind for tomorrow’s goal.
