All About Circuits

ALL ABOUT CIRCUITS is a web site that includes a six volume EBook covering various electrical and electronic topics.  The volumes include 1) DC, 2) AC, 3) Semiconductors, and 4) Digital.  Volume 5 includes Reference material such as useful equations, color codes, and SPICE Circuit Simulation information.  The reference volume also includes algebra, trigonometry, and calculus information.  The sixth volume includes Experiments grouped into various categories.  The details provided and the illustrations included are all very well done.

The web site also includes Worksheets.  These are like mini-tests on the various topics.  And in addition there is a nice collection of Video Lectures.  The video lectures were provided by Tim Fiegenbaum at North Seattle Community College. They are based on the text, Electronics for Computer Technology by David Terrell. © 2003 Delmar Learning, a part of Cengage Learning, Inc.

There also appears to be an active discussion community – forum and blogs pages seem to be well supported.  They describe the purpose of these as follows, “Our forum is a place where thousands of students, hobbyists and professionals from around the world share knowledge and ideas.”

These textbooks were written by Tony R. Kuphaldt and released under the Design Science License.   This book is a modified version of the EBook “Lessons In Electric Circuits”, which is Copyright © 2000-2003, Tony R. Kuphaldt. The original book is released under the Design Science License.  In turn, the modified version is also released under the same Design Science License.

And if you want, you can even contribute to this project.  Information is provided on the site on how to do this.
