The Texas Board of Professional Engineers has provided an on-line PE Evaluator tool. This quick and easy web tool allows you to determine your eligibility based on your qualifications. The tool helps a person to answer such questions as “Do I qualify for licensure?”, “Which Exams do I have to take?” and “Do I qualify to apply for a waiver?”  It also generates a custom checklist to identify which items are needed to complete your application.

It is important to note that all information provided by this application is for guidance purposes only. They direct users to please refer to the Texas Engineering Practice Act and the TBPE Board rules for exact requirements and qualifications.

So this is an excellent tool for Texas engineers, and it can also be somewhat informative to prospective professional engineers in other states.
